Nando’s has just met its ad competitor, and South Africans can’t get enough. 

SOUTH AFRICANS CAN’T GET ENOUGH OF THIS NEW FUNNY ADVERT

An advert for the Switch energy drink has gone viral. 

The viral ad video depicts a government headquarters where government officials prepare to start their day. If you are South African, you’ll recognise that at home affairs, everything moves at a slow pace, and most equipment is out of order. Tea breaks, queues and systems being offline are all part of long days at government institutes in South Africa. 

Authorities do not fix potholes, and the average state of service delivery in South Africa is non-existent.

In the video, Switch replaces water, triggering a sudden surge of energy, unveiling something never before witnessed in South African history. Officials jump around to resolve issues and assist the public with service delivery matters, even before taking tea breaks.

All the issues mentioned in the video have made headlines in the past year; these include water, power, potholes issues, issues with RDP houses and licenses. 

Nando’s earns recognition for its production of comedy advertising.

This satire advert is a favourite amongst South Africans and truly a competitor for Nando’s. This video was posted seven days ago and has been viewed more than 200 000 views on YouTube. It is also widely shared on social media.

For years now, Nando’s has built a reputation for producing quality comedy advertising.
